Data Privacy Statement

This is the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau - University of Applied Sciences (WHZ) data protection notice and concerns the WHZ Alumni Network, which can be found at alumni.whz.de. The service provider is WHZ.

Registration

WHZ graduates who successfully completed their degrees after 14/12/2015 are automatically included in the WHZ Alumni Network. However, the registration is only activated when the graduate confirms and updates the data entered in the WHZ Alumni Network. They are sent an email with a registration link for this purpose. Graduates who gained their degrees before 14/12/2015 and/or were previously registered in the Mentor University Association of Zwickau (Hochschulverein Mentor e.V. Zwickau) alumni database will need to review, update and reconfirm their entries.

Graduates whose information was not automatically included or was not confirmed, former employees and professors, can register themselves. Login rights will be reviewed by WHZ.

The information required for registration is: surname (birth name if applicable), first name, date of birth, email address, password, information about the degree earned at WHZ (type of degree, course of study, year of enrolment, date of completion) or about the organizational unit in which the former employee or professor was employed.

Registration is voluntary and free of charge.
